Overview

Glapp Data Export is a browser extension that helps you export your health tracking data from glapp.io for personal use, such as sharing with your doctor. Your privacy is our top priority.

Data Collection

This extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. Specifically:

• No analytics or tracking
• No cookies set by the extension
• No data sent to third-party services
• No user accounts or registration

How Your Data Is Used

When you click "View Printable Report" or "Download CSV Data," the extension:

• Reads your health data directly from glapp.io using your existing logged-in session
• Processes the data entirely within your browser
• Generates a report or CSV files locally on your device

Your data never leaves your browser. The extension temporarily stores report data in Chrome's local storage to pass it between the popup and the report page, then immediately deletes it after the report loads.

Permissions

• Host permission (glapp.io) — Required to fetch your tracking data from glapp.io's API using your existing login session
• Downloads — Required to save the CSV ZIP file to your computer
• Storage — Required to temporarily pass report data between extension pages

Third-Party Libraries

The extension bundles two open-source libraries locally (no external network requests):

• Chart.js — for rendering charts in the report
• JSZip — for creating ZIP files for CSV download

Changes

If this privacy policy changes, the update will be posted here and the extension version will be incremented.
